USC film professor, playwright, and veteran film & television writer, Ken LaZebnik, excavates and unearths shards of film history that have been buried for decades in his first nonfiction work, Hollywood Digs: An Archaeology of Shadows. While discussing the romantic and tragic saga featuring F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jock Mahoney (legendary stuntman and Hollywood’s thirteenth Tarzan), and child actor-turned-fabled second-unit director of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Micky Moore, LaZebnik will paint idiosyncratic portraits—and unveil insider tales—of Hollywood’s greatest luminaries and forgotten legends (including Paul Newman, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Stewart, Judy Garland, Al Jolson, Milton Berle, George Burns, and Harpo Marx), all brought to life thanks to a slide show of exclusive and rarely-seen duotone photographs by famous Hollywood photographer, Leigh Wiener.
