Abbott Kinney pop-up devoted to cool Danish design owned by two Danes, Sharin Foo & Camilla Hjerl.
Aficionados of great design tend to worship at the altar of Scandinavian aesthetics, so if you're a devotee, you might want to head over to Hurra! This popup, located in Venice, is owned by two LA-based Danes: Sharin Foo of The Raveonettes and architect and graphic designer Camilla Hjerl. Open till the end of December, the shop, transformed from what was once honored with the title “the ugliest building on Abbot Kinney,” boasts a well-curated collection of contemporary Danish design from such beloved Denmark-based companies as Han Kjøbenhavn, Wood Wood., AIAIAI, Yvonne Kone, Tine Ratzer, Anders Arhøj, Marianne Krumbach, We Do Wood, Frama, Søren Rose, Vibe Harsløf, HUNN, Place de Bleu, BalLab, Lucky Boy Sunday, ArtRebels, and KasperKasper.
