Weather can be troublesome force, but for renowned artist Fujiko Nakaya, it’s a huge component of her artistic practice. Her current project, Veil, sees her engulfing Philip Johnson’s Glass House in fog. The first artist to successfully create this sort of sculptural environment, Nakaya sits down with Henry Urbach, Director of the Glass House, to discuss her fascination with everyday weather phenomenon and past projects using geysers, falls and fog gardens.
