In anticipation of Monkey: Journey to the West's New York debut this July, Lincoln Center Festival will play host to a conversation between Gorillaz co-creator and Monkey: Journey to the West visual artist Jamie Hewlett and New York Times journalist Dave Itzkoff.

The conversation will be preceded by a screening of Hewlett's short film Monkey Bee, and followed by a screening of Monkey, the 1970s cult Japanese television series that helped inspire Damon Albarn and Hewlett to create Monkey: Journey to the West.
