On Sunday, November 24th at 10:00am at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, the Junior League of Los Angeles (JLLA) will host its annual Harvest Boutique luncheon and fundraiser event. This event, which is entirely planned and executed by Junior League volunteers, is one of the organization’s tentpole fundraising events, which supports the League’s partner charities. All of funds raised at Harvest Boutique will directly benefit JLLA’s projects that improve literacy, education, and self-esteem/empowerment in women and children in Los Angeles. JLLA’s local partners include: The Children’s Bureau, Children’s Institute, Inc., Daybreak, HOLA and The Mar Vista Family Center.
Harvest Boutique brings a select group of local vendors together to create a unique shopping event for attendees. Past vendors have included: Trina Turk, Somper Furs, Hana’s Fashion, CZ Falconer, BedHead PJs, Charles David, Stella and Dot, Lisa Mackey, Borrowed Bling, Peppina Jewelry, Gourmet Blends, Designs by Lara Noel Hill and Jean Walters Fine Accessories. This year, Kendra Scott Jewelry will be an exclusive sponsor of Harvest Boutique and will host a Jewelry Pull featuring 100 select pieces of jewelry all valued near $100.00 per piece.
In a Harvest Boutique first, this year’s event will feature a Fashion Showcase in each of the vendor rooms. The showcase will spotlight each of the event’s vendors and will include fashion demonstrations, covering topics such as “Dressing for your Body Type,” “How to Accessorize,” and “Capsule Dressing.” These informational sessions will each be 15-30 minutes and will engage event attendees with relevant information while simultaneously highlighting Harvest Boutique sponsors and vendors.
The event also includes a Silent Auction with high-end items and unique experiences furnished by League members and local donors. Highlights of this year’s auction include: two tickets on Alaska Airlines, tickets for a once-in-a-lifetime ride in the famous Good Year blimp and more.
All are welcome to join the more than 600 guests, including members of the Junior League, friends, family and community partners who will be in attendance.
