Real/Virtual, Trash/Treasure: This interactive group exhibition examines liminal states across media
Liminal StatesProjekt 722 (722 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn) Map it Free
As we close out 2013, you could argue that we're all stuck in a sort of liminal state -- not quite finished with this year and its cultural influences, but already priming for a new year of demands. Artists including Flavorpill fave Michelle Levy (who has recently been exploring the mysterious actions of FBI Agent Dale Cooper), Herbert Lacsina, Marianna de Nadal, Clarinda Mac Low, William Tucci, and Kara J. Schmidt expose the intersections and overlaps between faith and pessimism, the real and the virtual, trash and treasure. Check out sculpture, video, and installation art pieces through January 26.
