A six-week international summertime celebration of the performing arts, the Lincoln Center Festival prides itself on its adventurous, eclectic and unique programming. For 2014, the festival spans the global, featuring works from 11 countries. Among this year’s highlights are the Sydney Theatre Company production of Jean Genet’s The Maids starring Cate Blanchett, Isabelle Huppert, and Elizabeth Debicki, Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s opera, The Passenger, performed by the House Grand Opera at the Park Avenue Armory, and a joint appearance by the Bolshoi Ballet, Opera, Chorus and Orchestra performing Don Quixote, Swan Lake, and Spartacus ballets.
