The Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens celebrates Earth Day with a weekend expo spotlighting California wildlife and the role it plays in the health of Planet Earth on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 2014, 10 am to 4 pm, at the Zoo in Griffith Park. Earth Day Expo features interactive stations throughout the Zoo providing guests an opportunity to explore information and ideas about animal conservation and preservation, sustainable living for humans, recycling, and how to make Earth a better place to live. All activities are free with paid Zoo admission.
All Earth Day Expo activities are included with paid admission to the Los Angeles Zoo, which is $18 for adults, $13 for children 2-12, $15 for seniors 62 and up. Admission is free for GLAZA members and children under two.
The Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens is located within Griffith Park at the junction of the Ventura (134) and Golden State (5) freeways at 5333 Zoo Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027.
