A new fashion documentary about the former editor of French Vogue, Carine Rotfeld.
This fashion documentary brings the glamorous existence of Carine Roitfeld to life. Roitfield, a Gallic harbinger of taste, was editor-in-chief at French Vogue for a decade before leaving to create her own periodical. The uber-chic editrix, who refers to her preferred style as “bourgeois slut,” lets us inside her creative process. Her celebrity-laden milieu is in evidence, with on-screen appearances from such fashion-world luminaries as Karl Lagerfeld, Tom Ford, Donatella Versace, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Visually compelling, “Mademoiselle C” is not everyone, but fashionistas should thrill to observing Roitfield’s over-the-top fashion shoots and listening to her musings about the fashion world.
