“What chu mean I ain’t black? I’m not only black, I’m a black Hawaiian…like Obama. I grew up in the Hawaiian ghetto.”
Growing up in a small town in Hawaii, Malcolm couldn’t be happier. Everyone knows and loves him. Then, in an instant, everything changes. His life is turned upside down. Comedian Malcolm Grissom takes the audience on a humorous life journey which questions whether hope and drive can survive life's roadblocks. Through his journey of darkness and light, Grissom touches upon some of the topics which affects us all.
“The experience is not one of watching a play, but of experiencing something alive - you can feel the heartbeat of this performance.”--- audience member
“Grissom gave us a hometown tale worthy of Garrison Keillor — with Bobcat Goldthwaite intensity.”---SF Weekly
