Moby joins the Honorary Committee of the fifth annual Art for Tibet show, where more than 75 acclaimed artists will exhibit art works to support the Tibetan freedom struggle on May 15 at Tibet House in New York. The show will feature top contemporary Tibetan and international artists, including Shepard Fairey, David Ellis, Melodie Provenzano, Cey Adams, Ken Schles, Tashi Norbu, Ben Baker, Tenzin Rigdol, Karl Klingbiel, and more.
All artwork for the silent auction will be available online starting May 12 for pre-bidding and will close on Thursday, May 15. Proceeds will benefit Students for a Free Tibet (SFT), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with international headquarters in New York.
Art for Tibet is an annual charity auction that showcases work from a diverse international pool of established and emerging artists, including a growing number of outstanding contemporary Tibetan artists. For many Tibetan artists, this show is a rare and vital opportunity to express their artistic voices and exhibit their work without risk of imprisonment.
