Napa Valley Grille in Westwood presents another of their popular monthly four-course wine dinner. Pairing Executive Chef Taylor Boudreaux with St. Supéry winery of Napa Valley. Napa Valley Grille is renowned for their ultra-fresh, seasonally driven cuisine, while St. Supéry is known for their top-notch single-vineyard varietals. This dinner begins with an amuse-bouche of Prosciutto and Melon with Burrata, Meyer Lemon Reduction, and Micro Basil, paired with a glass of St. Supéry’s 2011 Estate Virtú. The first course is Stone Fruit Salad made with Seasonal Fruit, Drake Farms Goat Cheese, and Sherry Vinaigrette, matched with a glass of 2010 Estate Oak Free Chardonnay, followed by the second course: Harissa Spiced Lamb Lollipops with Seasonal Berry Gastrique, with ’09 2009 Estate Elu. The main course is Seared Kobe New York steak with Potato Fondant and Bordelaise Sauce, which pairs beautifully with a glass of ’07 Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by dessert: Seasonal Melon Trifle Sponge Cake with Orange Custard and Moscato Syrup, paired with a 2011 Estate Moscato. Napa Valley Grille’s monthly wine dinners tend to sell out, so reservations are highly recommended.
