Napa Valley Grille in Westwood presents a four-course wine dinner with Executive Chef Taylor Boudreaux in partnership with Summerland Winery of the Central Coast. This dinner begins with an amuse-bouche of Seared Scallop with Strawberry-Ginger Compote, White Balsamic Reduction, paired with a glass of Summerland’s ’12 Grenache Rose, Paso Robles. The first course is Fennel and Arugula Salad with Shaved Parmesan, and Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette, matched with a glass of ’11 Bien Nacido Vineyard Chardonnay, Santa Maria Valley, followed by the second course: Crispy Duck Confit with Raspberry-Thyme Reduction with ’09 Solomon Hills Pinot Noir, Santa Maria Valley. The main course is Beef Bourguignon Wild Mushrooms, Cippolini Onions, Apple Smoked Bacon, which pairs beautifully with a glass of ’08 Paradise Road, Alta Mesa, Wolff Vineyard “Trio,” Santa Barbara, followed by dessert: Poached Plum with Goat Cheese Gelato and Brown Sugar Syrup, paired with an ’09 Syrah, Paso Robles.
