Here’s a rare opportunity to be inside the Tent of Tomorrow, the six million dollar open-air pavilion designed by architect Philip Johnson that played host to the 1964/1965 New York World’s Fair. Currently being restored by the New York State Pavilion Paint Project Crew, this structure is available for your perusing (and instagram photos) for a very short window, three hours to be exact. Members of the crew working on the project can answer questions during this time about the past, present and future of the structure. Please note, hard hats must be worn during the visit and are supplied on site.
