This Seattle three-piece summon the 13th Floor Elevators and Golden Dawn

Bestowing a pungent bouquet of psychedelia, garage and surf rock, Night Beats are an indie trio that call Seattle home. The band released their first studio album on Trouble in Mind in 2011 and were hailed for channeling the sonic goodness of the 13th Floor Elevators and Golden Dawn and giving it their own modern stamp. This year, with the assistance of Austin Psych Fest label Reverberation Appreciation Society, the group dropped Sonic Bloom. A reverb-drenched aural adventure, the new album sees the band's sound blossoming. Tonight, you can catch them at Mercury Lounge with the Mystery Lights as openers.
