NFFC is showcasing the work of directing duo PENSACOLA and hosting a Q&A at Videology in Brooklyn.
Directing duo PENSACOLA are teaming up with No Fun Film Club for an evening of radical, dream-like visual stimuli. Originally from Spain, Pau Suris and Pau Dalmases moved to New York and began working on no-budget projects together. Their mutual passion for visual effect has fueled their exploration into using different mediums of art - from photos to sculptures - to create moving images. Their most notable projects are for the Scottish synth-pop band CHVRCHES, and NYC street wear brand 10.Deep. If you're a lover of film we suggest making your way over to Videology tonight for this glorious ocular feast. After the screening, the filmmakers discuss their inspirations and creative process.
NO FUN FILM CLUB presents the work of NYC directing team and multimedia studio PENSACOLA. PENSACOLA has produced visually entrancing work for everyone from Scottish synth-pop band, CHVRCHES, to pioneer street wear brand, 10 Deep. Following the screening NO FUN will host a conversation with PENSACOLA around their vision, inspiration and process as a directing team. This event is FREE. 21+
