Soak in the suds from 30 breweries at this opening night gala
We hope you're thirsty, because the mother of all beer events is about to unleash itself on New York. Now in its 6th year, New York City Beer Week is a New York City Brewers Guild production and features over 300 sudsy happenings all over the city. The festivities kick off at this epic soiree, which takes place at the historic Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal. You'd be hard pressed to find a more magnificent setting to sip on rare and obscure brews from 30 of the county's best breweries, including Wyerbacher, Lagunitas and Dogfish. In addition to unlimited sampling, some of the city's finest food vendors are serving up tasty snacks throughout the night and Music Under New York is providing entertainment. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of ale, this event is a must.
