The New York Film Festival in cooperation with filmmaker Richard Linkater are getting the old gang from Robert E Lee high school back together for a special 20th anniversary screening of Dazed and Confused followed by a discussion. Based on Linklater's own experiences, the film follows a group of teens on their last day of school in 1976. From the hazing of the incoming freshmen, to drinking beer and getting stoned, this cinematic gem will be remembered for its humor, superb cast, excellent soundtrack and ability to capture that old high school spirit. We aren't sure who exactly from the cast will show, but key members include Jason London, Joey Lauren Adams, Rory Cochrane, Adam Goldberg, Anthony Rapp, Wiley Wiggins, Parker Posey, Ben Affleck, and Matthew McConaughey, who played the unforgettable aging high school hanger-oner Wooderson.
