Point Break, Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 film about surfers who commit bank robberies while dressed as dead Presidents, is beloved by fans for its over the top dialogue, inadvertently amusing dialogue, and profuse, senseless violence. Point Break Live, a hilarious spoof of the 1991 zen surfing classic, has earned accolades around the country for the past five years and is now parachuting into New York. One audience member will be selected to play Keanu Reeves’ role of Johnny Utah, while others jump in as extras. To help get you through the insanity, a Point Break Live! Survival Kit complete with poncho, earplugs, and more, is included in the ticket price.
