this is your chance to dance at the prom of your high school fantasies

Whether you went to your prom in full ballgown and tuxedoed splendor or skipped it with the geeks and nerds, this is your chance to dance at the prom of your high school fantasies.

In the main room, live musical performances by Athens, Georgia darlings and 10 piece purveyors of whimsical pop, The Quiet Hooves; local acid exotica musick by El Topo; and, celebrating their record release, Brooklyn chamber pop ensemble Friend Roulette.

For your visual pleasure, all the way from the west coast, San Francisco artist David Normal offers a special spectacular art show: Illuminations Installation.

Your Rubulad DJs $mall ¢hange, Ol’ Stark, Barney Iller and DJ Mojo spin the dance romance and makeout music.

In the Cabaret Room, New Orleans' bawdiest
accordionist/songwriter/multi-hoola-hooper Mary-Go-Round. Learn all about the difference between good porn and bad with The Porno Jim Show. Behold the mesmerizing Vaudeville magic of Solomon the Peculiarist. And be prepared for unanticipated surprises.

As always, Norm Francoeur’s Light Circus Extraordinaire and G. Scopitronic’s Non-Stop Film Fest provide an entertaining distraction. If sex and strings are more your thing, witness a Perverted Puppet Show by the always exquisite Pierre Pressure.

Sport your most gloriously hideous or spectacularly sleazy formal wear. However, leave the limo at home; it’s too big to fit on Suffolk Street.
