Tasty, crispy rice balls in a multitude of flavors at Little Dom's & Dominick's.
Celebrate the Feast of San Gennaro at Little Dom’s in Los Feliz. The entire weekend of the feast, Chef Brandon Boudet is offering up his special menu of arancini, the rice balls that are a beloved Sicilian street food. Boudet’s preparing numerous flavors of this breaded, deep-fried risotto treat, including Sausage & Peppers (with Sweet Italian Sausage, Tomato & Smoked Scarmorza Cheese); Chicken Parmesan (with Roasted Chicken Thighs, Tomato, Crushed Red Pepper & Fresh Mozzarella); Shrimp Scampi with Garlic, White Wine, Butter, and Fresh Herbs; The Hipster (vegetarian & gluten-free) with Carnaroli Rice, Market Summer Vegetables & Housemade Almond Milk Ricotta; or, for those who prefer dessert versions, Nutella filled with Vanilla Bean and Mascarpone with Raspberry Dipping Sauce, or Spiced Apple made with Arborio Rice and Spice-Roasted Apples, served with Cinnamon Cream. Boudet is also serving up these rice balls at his other restaurant, Dominick’s: http://www.dominicksrestaurant.com/. Both restaurants will sell the crispy rice balls for $4 each, while glasses of Dago White and Red will be available for $5.
