There's a type of excitement in the air created by the British post punk band Savages that hasn't been felt in quite some time. Blending the sibling genres of post punk and goth, Savages sound like they grew up listening to plenty of Public Image Ltd, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and other records that bubbled up out of England in the late 1970s in the wake of punk, and people have been responding in a way that tells us this show will sell out well before the day of the show, so you might want to get on buying tickets as soon as humanly possible.
