Jamestown and the James Beard Foundation will host the sixth annual Sunday Supper at Chelsea Market on Sunday, March 23. The family-style, seated dinner prepared by 19 renowned chefs from across the country for 275 guests will raise funds for the James Beard Foundation scholarship program, Careers Through Culinary Arts Program, Wellness in the Schools, and The Jamestown Charitable Foundation, all not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations focusing on initiatives for culinary education.
This year’s lineup of chefs includes six 2014 James Beard Foundation Awards Semifinalists including: Anne Quatrano* of Bacchanalia, Atlanta, for Outstanding Chef and Outstanding Service; Jamie Bissonnette of Coppa, Boston, for Best Chef New England; Jonathan Sawyer of The Greenhouse Tavern, Cleveland, for Best Chef Great Lakes; Champe Speidel of Persimmon, Bristol, RI, for Best Chef New England and Outstanding Service; Edward Lee of 610 Magnolia, Louisville, KY, for Best Chef South East; and Jennifer Puccio of The Cavalier, San Francisco, for Best New Restaurant.
