The relationship between architecture and photography is profound, particularly when the resultant photos successfully convey space. Today, Dietrich Neumann, a professor of history of art and architecture at Brown University, discusses evolving methods of expressing space in architectural photos, including the resurgence of panoramic photos and new approaches to time-lapse photography. This discussion is in conjunction with two shows at the Getty: In Focus: Architecture and At the Window: The Photographer's View.
