It’s that time of year again. Winter is over (did it ever happen in the first place?) and with springtime comes a renewed season of Sunday Streets, a San Francisco tradition (of sorts) since 2008! The inaugural Sunday Streets of 2014 is taking over the Embarcadero. Free of automobile traffic, the newly liberated pavement is the perfect spot for a block party, a space where the whole community can come out and do . . . whatever. Ride a bike, dance, organize a match of competitive hoop rolling; the world (at least of few blocks of it) is your oyster, at least for the five hours Sunday Streets is happening. Overwhelmed by all the possibility? Organizers always have something planned as well, from treasure hunts to dodgeball games.
