This three-day music fete returns with OutKast, Jack White, Vampire Weekend, The Strokes, and more
Governors Ball is back and promises to be better than ever. Founders Entertainment, the fest's organizers, are determined to pull off the best festival New York has ever experienced and spent the off-season wading through everyone's feedback. Returning to the new and improved Randall's Island, the festivities span three-days and feature over 80 acts including OutKast, Jack White, Vampire Weekend, The Strokes, Damon Albarn (first-time solo performance), Phoenix, The Kills, Childish Gambino, Foster the People, Chance the Rapper, and Disclosure. In addition to the insane musical program, you can expect art installations, fun activities, and food and beverages catered by local vendors. Tickets went quick last year and we predict a repeat. Fingers-crossed the weather cooperates.
