It's a Paisley Underground class reunion with the Bangles, The Three O'Clock, and more
It’s the 1980’s in Los Angeles, but everyone wishes it were 1969. A small group of bands form a scene that collectively comes to be known as the Paisley Underground, a throwback to the nostalgic heyday of 60’s garage and psychedelia flourishing in the heart of a city obsessed with synthesizers and drum machines. Although their later major label work eclipsed their presence in the niche scene, The Bangles were there at the beginning. In fact, this line-up actually mirrors that of an earlier concert, for which the term Paisley Underground was first coined, with the Dream Syndicate added for tonight. It’s the Bangles, the Three O’Clock and the Rain Parade, sharing the same stage just as they did on that fateful night in 1982.
