The River and the Raft: A Night of Original Monologue Performances Based on True Stories of Human Trafficking Survivors$35
Thai Community Development Center presents an intimate night of dramatic monologue readings based on modern-day slavery cases to give voice to survivors who were trafficked from Thailand to the United States. Come honor the history of anti-trafficking efforts and join our movement in fighting against labor exploitation by commemorating the resiliency of survivors and supporting Thai CDC’s advocacy work.
Ticket proceeds will support Thai CDC’s work to provide relief, education, counseling, and advocacy for trafficking survivors. With your support, we can continue to empower survivors to become whole persons again with the will and self-determination to pursue justice and lead independent and productive lives.
Registration will begin at 7:00pm and the show will start at 7:30pm. Please join us for a Q&A session and a light reception after the monologue performance.
