BASIL TWIST AND MARTIN P. ROBINSON FEATURED IN “THE SMELL OF HOPE”

A Puppet Cabaret & Fundraiser for Emily DeCola

New York City, NY: Basil Twist (Symphonie Fantastique, Arias with a Twist), and Martin P. Robinson (“Sesame Street”, Little Shop of Horrors) join additional members of the puppet community at The Connelly Theater this Friday, July 19, 2013, for an evening of drinks and entertainment to support one of their own, Emily DeCola.

Emily DeCola, co-founder of The Puppet Kitchen, recently suffered a traumatic brain injury after being hit by a bicyclist and sustaining a concussion. In addition to debilitating headaches and memory loss, she has been left with a heartbreakingly impaired sense of smell. A silent auction and raffle will follow performances by Basil Twist, Martin P. Robinson, James Goldwin, Brad Kemp, Spencer Lott and the cast of Elizabeth Hara'sSenseless: A Brick Foley Adventure.

“The Smell of Hope: A Fundraiser For Emily DeCola” will be held Friday, July 19, 2013. Doors open at 6:30pm, curtain at 8:00pm, with reception to follow.

The Connelly Theater is located at 220 East 4th Street between Avenues A and B.

$15 for general admission. $50 for premium admission and open bar.

Tickets can be bought at the door or in advance by making a contribution at: www.gofundme.com/smellofhope.
