Join us as we celebrate 30 years of The Standby Program with a theme of NYC and the underground music scene in the 70’s & 80’s, the screening highlights works created and preserved by long time Standby Members and prolific artists such as Jem Cohen, James Nares, the late Gretchen Bender, and Emily Armstrong & Pat Iver’s newly preserved Nightclubbing Archive, which documented the NYC punk rock scene including the Lounge Lizards, Bad Brains, Dead Boys and the Cramps.

All filmmakers will be in attendance!

The screening is followed by a wine and cheese party and a silent auction to support Standby.
