The Village Voice's infamous beer fete is back
"If you pour it, they will come" is a good rule of thumb when it comes to beer, which is probably why The Village Voice created today's salute to craft brews. In addition to sampling over 100 beers from makers and importers such as Asahi, Dogfish Head Brewery, Goose Island, and Original Sin Cider, attendees can catch live demonstrations from top brewmasters. For those that want to imbibe in style, a VIP ticket is available, offering its bearer early admission, access to a VIP lounge, complimentary food and a gift bag. The entire brew ha ha goes down in the former Williamsburg Savings Bank at One Hanson Place, a rather divine and majestic setting befitting a kegger of this proportion.
