In association with Litquake 2013, San Francisco Cinematheque presents an investigation into the visualisation of text in film, a night of shorts in which the usually static written word takes center stage on screen. Featuring films by Stan Brakhage, Michael Snow and Paul Sharits, among others, this collection upsets the traditional language of storytelling with moving pictures by utilizing the words themselves.
