13 For Halloween is a group art show and sale organized by fiber artist Alexandra Von Burg. The show features twisted prints, gruesome and whimsical sculpture, Godzilla, Vampire jewelry, Day of the Dead fabric gifts, chocolate treats, sick humor, t-shirts, coffins, and more on display and for sale.
This is the third year that 13 for Halloween has been held in Alexandra’s studio, Textile Dreams, on 8th street in the Berkeley Arts District in teh Sawtooth Building. Alexandra is personally dedicated to having fun making art and encouraging the celebration of the most hallowed of holidays. She invites like-minded artists who create art that is creepy, gothic, ghoulish, wickedly funny, and sometimes utilitarian.
