Schnabel presents his film documenting Lou Reed's performance of Berlin at St. Ann's Warehouse
As the remembrances continue to roll in, the Museum of the Moving Image is honoring the passing of Lou Reed with a screening of Julian Schnabel's 2007 concert documentary, Lou Reed's Berlin. Shot at St Ann's Warehouse in 2006, the film captures the legendary rocker performing his bleak 1973 concept album with a full band and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus in support. The director's daughter Lola also got in on the act, providing visuals. Julian Schnabel will be introducing the film.
