More Segall on the way, Sleeper drops August 20th via Drag City
Ty Segall must have been eating his Wheaties as a kid, because as far as rockers go, he's a bona fide champion. In 2012 alone, the San Francisco scenester birthed three medal-worthy sonic specimens, "Hair," a collaboration with White Fence; "Slaughterhouse," which he recorded with his touring band, and solo effort, "Twins." He may have sailed in on the garage rock revival wave, but he's charting his own course that's brilliantly unpredictable with its hardcore turns, space jams and valiant pop hooks. Tonight, Segall swoops down on Music Hall of Williamsburg in support of his latest record dropping via Drag City on August 20th, Sleeper. If the new record is anything like his others, you're not going to want to snooze on tickets to this show.
