Artist and designer Laurel Broughton transforms everyday objects into new products.
Laurel Broughton, the artist and designer behind Welcome Projects, transforms everyday objects into new products using doses of surrealism and surprise. For Wall Works: Black Holes, she collaborated with over 500 K-12 students to remake blank Tetra Pak milk cartons into artistic interpretations of black holes and outer space. Together, their artworks comprise a Milky Way-inspired installation in Bergamot Station’s G-Hallway.
