Mark your calendars for April 6th as When In Robe: Brooklyn SPA Dance Parties returns to the spa with special guests Sepalcure (Machinedrum + Braille Sounds), as well as our favorite resident Subset. This one is going sell out, so don't sleep on tickets.
If you haven't been to a 'When In Robe' party than you have no idea what you're missing. Each ticket includes access to our upscale spa, featuring a hot tub, saunas, steam rooms, cold plunge, and massage treatments. You receive a locker and a robe, change into your bathing suit, get handed a free glass of champagne, and enter the party. We have full lighting, top notch sound, a full bar, and tons of room to dance. We also cater the party with free food just in case you get a case of the late night munchies.
Sepalcure is the music collanboation of Travis Stewart, also known as Machinedrum, and Praveen Sharma, who releases music under the alias Braille. Together, these two know how to delve into the deeper side of things, vibing off each other on stage and blending genres from bass to dub to house and everything in between. Their 2011 debut album was named one of Pitchfork's '50 Best Albums Of The Year' so they get the critical love too. Highly recommend checking out their Boiler Room set if not for the incredible beats, than for Travis' incredible t-shirt.
Subset is one of the pre-eminent resident DJ's in NYC at the moment, in the rare club of people who have appeared in both Time Out NY and Time Out Dubai. He's been expanding minds every week as the host of Webster Hall's infamous BASSMENT Saturdays, and has been rocking the decks at When In Robe since it's inception. A true DJ who enjoys nothing more than playing great music, he also put out an incredible remix of Above and Beyond's 'Sun and Moon' that is a must-listen.
