The former MTV VJ and current host of Alternative Nation gives us a backstage pass into the last golden years of the cable network that defined a generation in her new memoir, The Kennedy Chronicles: The Golden Age of MTV Through Rose-Colored Glasses. The book includes juicy stories about celebrity encounters and network drama–a must for anyone who wants to know what really went on at MTV. In conversation with Rob Tannenbaum, the author of the critically acclaimed book, I Want My MTV: The Uncensored Story of the Music Video Revolution.
Location: The Bryant Park Reading Room located on the 42nd Street side of the park - under the trees - between the back of the NYPL on 5th Avenue & 6th Avenue. Look for the burgundy and white umbrellas.
