“Bettie Page, Jayne Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe all made their marks on the pin-up scene, and recent Playboy Playmate-cum-Crazy Horse Paris guest star Claire Sinclair has been called a modern pin-up girl by none other than Hugh Hefner. (She also dated his son, but that's besides the point.) Long story short: Burlesque is back, and this event gives wannabe Dita Von Teases the chance to adopt her classy-yet-saucy look, and have it all photographed. Who knows, that photo may come in handy years from now—"See, little Johnny, back in my day, your grandmother was what they boys called hot"—or it may spark some sort of professional scandal. Like the event itself, both options sound like a lot of fun.”
