Known for bringing The Ghost Train to the Old Truman Brewery in 2004, Marisa Carnesky performs late-night trickery in this gore-fest magic show. An Olivier award-winning live-art performer, Carnesky mixes elements of her Eastern European heritage with her love of old-school illusion. With a visual extravaganza designed in part by the innovative Insect Circus, this piece raises difficult questions about violence, war, and the survival instinct. Unearthing stories of magicians who have collaborated with the military, as well as examining our own complicity in conflict, this show is perfect for the Halloween season.
