More Flavor: City Gem China Late: Tea and Beer
-
- British Museum
With the welcome arrival of the Terracotta Army in London, the city has gone a bit China-crazy; to placate us, the British Museum has organized a huge variety of First Emperor-related events. One of the most interesting has to be this tasting of Chinese teas and beers, produced in conjunction with the London Confucius Institute. While satisfying their thirst, visitors can also listen to a live set by the Chinese-indie (by way of Luton) group Big Yellow, dabble in some calligraphy and try their luck at mah-jong. Definitely worth a visit, if only so you can tell people you've played drinking games in the British Museum.
