The Brick Lane Gallery says…

Graham Asker, a former engineer and designer, delves into a study of orthographic projection in his first solo exhibition at the Brick Lane Gallery.
While pulling from his previous professional monikers, Asker explores notions of dimensions and mental imagery. Asker places the spectator in the centre of the evaluative sphere, compelling the viewer to decode his miniature schematic pieces and engage in the process of constructing a 3-D image from something as flat as a canvas. Frequently using himself as the subject for his work and working with forms ranging from sculpture to digitally generated constructions, Asker opens a dialogue with the viewer through this exploration of interpretation.
