Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally comprise Baltimore duo Beach House, peddling a lovely line of lush, lo-fi dream pop. Their sound is rich and warm, yet has a distinctly melancholic, eerie feel to it, conjuring up images of meadows, fields and the windswept coasts of their native eastern seaboard. All whispered lyrics and fuzzy keyboards, their self-titled debut album was a 2006 sleeper hit among shy, romantically inclined indie boys and girls with a penchant for Spiritualized and Mazzy Star.
