Test your balance and revel in wintry charm as you careen around the glassy surface at Somerset House. Sip on a cup of mulled wine, or even pull out the rocks and propose, as Tiffany & Co are behind the proceedings this year. It would probably be best to do this off the ice, however, as acrobatics are generally best left to the Torvill and Deans of society. There's even the opportunity to pull out the spandex and flares and groove (or hold on to the side) to music in the evenings. Even amateurs shouldn't fear for bruised buttocks and severed fingers, as classes are available to refresh the skills of those more accustomed to keeping the ice in their drinks.
