Halloween may have come and gone, but that hasn't stopped the Photographers' Gallery from collecting some of the spookiest imagery this side of Hogwarts. Though the bulk of the exhibition is culled from the bizarre archives of the Harry Price Library of Magical Literature, the exhibition also features work from the contemporary scene. Modern artists represented in the show include Clare Strand's examination of the supposed spiritual auras that surround adolescent children; Tim Maul, who likes to wander around Manhattan in the company of psychics in the hunt for "non-living human presences" and Roger Ballen whose uniquely unsettling imagery is inspired by time spent in the small villages of rural South Africa.
