If your experience of improvisation only runs to repeats of Whose Line Is It Anyway? then you need to experience the Uncertainty Division. This London-based improv group have been challenging boring old conventions such as plot and script for six years through a spontaneous but decidedly unpretentious approach to theatre. For this latest project, the group take the idea of fairy tales and folk stories and then mix them with audience suggestions and their own peculiar ideas of narrative in order to build a new show, the "finished" version of which should appear sometime next summer. Stories That Want to Be Told combines entertainment with a chance to see the creative process in action — and no John Sessions involved.
