Christmas is all about good cheer, mistletoe and wholesome, family entertainment. That is not quite what Bistroteque have in mind with their legendary Drag Panto, however. Fun and frolics come with devastating wit and a ton of glitter in this seasonal satire poking fun at our favourite pop competitions. When Snow White gets dumped, she calls up Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty to reform their old girl band. Naturally the all-singing, all- dancing story is filled with double entendres and naughty references to titillate on a cold winter's day. The costumes and effects, as ever, have a slightly homemade and deranged appearance, but that just adds to the appeal. Belly laughs and silliness are the perfect antidote to the usual banality of the festive season.
