Manchester has invaded the Southbank Centre, so pick your desired dosage of 24 Hour Party People. Artist in residence Lemn Sissay brings various Mancunian spoken-wordsmiths to the Centre's Spirit Level, where they divide among two rooms. Madchester flame-keeper and Hacienda DJ Dave Haslam joins writers Zoe Lambert and Terry Christian in the Anthony H Wilson room, while Henry Normal, the comedic genius behind The Royle Family, and I Am Kloot frontman Johny Bramwell entertain in the Thomas de Quincy Room. Reconvene after the spoken-word gigs for a dance party.
