For this production, still less than a year into Josie Rourke's tenure as Artistic Director of the Bush Theatre, she turns to US playwright, screenwriter and film director Neil LaBute. Following the success of LaBute's This Is How It Goes at the Donmar, Rourke has chosen wisely with two similar studies of urban companionship, Helter Skelter and Land of the Dead. Set in NYC, these twin narratives tell the stories of two sets of couples in extreme circumstances. This double bill is directed by Patricia Benecke and stars Patrick Driver, Ruth Gemmell and John Kirk.
