Art: Photography Walter Hanlon: Jazz in London

Take a trip back to the dark, smoky jazz clubs of the '50s with Walter Hanlon's atmospheric exhibition. While working in the music business during his 20s, the young Hanlon developed an eye for good performers and soon decided to pursue a career as a photographer. The budding snapper gained access to the era's most famous musicians at the 100 Club (then known as the London Jazz Club) thanks to his previous contacts in the industry, and the intimacy of his work reflects this personal proximity. Portraits on display include Cab "Minnie the Moocher" Calloway, Johnny Dankworth and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue presenter Humphrey Lyttelton.
